I am running for the Iron Mountain Public Schools Board of Education because I believe strong schools are the foundation of a strong community.
As a parent, lifelong Mountaineer, union representative, and community advocate, I care deeply about making sure every student has the opportunity, support, and preparation they need to succeed. That means strong academics, support for educators, investment in the arts, career and technical pathways, and a school environment where students feel respected and ready for the future.
Iron Mountain has a proud tradition, and our schools are central to that. I want to bring a working-class, community-focused voice to the board: someone who listens, asks good questions, respects educators, and keeps the focus on students.
My campaign is about Successful Kids, Strong Educators, and a Thriving Community. I believe our schools should help students find their strengths and prepare for life after graduation, whether that means college, the skilled trades, military service, the arts, athletics, or a career right here at home.
I am running to serve the whole Iron Mountain school community and to help ensure our children are well-equipped to succeed.

Respecting, retaining, and supporting the educators and staff who make our student success possible.
Protecting and strengthening opportunities in music, theater, visual arts, athletics, clubs, and extracurriculars so every student can find where they thrive.
Making sure parents, families, educators, students, and community members are heard through clear communication and thoughtful decision-making.
Supporting smart, transparent decisions around district resources, infrastructure, safety, and long-term planning.
